Waste Management and Home Depot Bagster scam - Bagster
I bought a Bagster at Home Depot, filled according to the instructions, scheduled a pickup nd paid in advance. I received an Email that said it would be picked up on Monday.
I received another email that said they were sorry, that they had to reschedule my pickup and they would contact me. Being a business owner myself I hate to bug anyone, but I had to reschedule my roofer because the bag was in the way so I decided to call and see if they had any idea when it would be picked up. The customer service person told me that they tried to pick it up but it was placed improperly! I explained that I followed the directions on the bag and that it was NOT placed improperly. She said that the driver said it was, and that they would not pick it up. I explained that they could back into the driveway and hoist it up. She stated that he did not have permission to enter the driveway. I explained that I signed the form , attached to the bag, granting permission (their rules). She said he could not see it. I asked why he did not get out of the truck to look, she stated that he "does not have time to get out at every stop, they are extremely busy". I asked to speak to a supervisor. I received a call and was instructed to "move the bag to the street". The street has no clearance for the truck! I asked to have them return and I would wait for the driver, I was advised that they would not pick it up unless I moved it, It's full!!!! So, I asked for a refund. If I have to empty it, move it , and refill it, I will just take it to the county dump. The man stated that they would charge me a trip charge for the failed attempt!!!! I even took a video of my property to show that it was placed properly and sent it to them, still no reply, after being assured they would call me back. I will take no longer deal with Home Depot, or Waste Management unless this is resolved.
